Surrounded by the lush greenery of the Western Ghats, is this magnificent natural waterfall – Hanumana Gundi Falls, also known as Soothanabbi by the natives. Located near the popular tourist spot Kudremukh National Park, this enchanting waterfall offers a serene retreat away from urban life. This is a heaven for nature enthusiasts and adventurers for the same reason. It required a small trek of about 300 steps leading towards the viewpoint.
There are a couple of small shops, towards the checkpost / entrance of the Kudremukh National Park, which provides basic Hot Beverages and simple Authentic snacks. You can pick your basic food items here, as the waterfall is a bit isolated and there are no shops available at the viewpoint.
A few of the shops are listed below:

– Nayak’s Canteen (small shop)

Although the monsoons make this place heaven, it is best to visit this place post-monsoon. The perfect time to visit would be from September to April, as the trails will not be muddy or slippery, but the falls will have the right amount of water flow.
