Overview

Kumaradhara River is one of the most beautiful rivers, flows through the western ghats of India to join Netravati River at Uppinangadi and then eventually to join Arabian Sea. In its course comes Pushpagiri Hills where the river takes a plunge of 200ft, creating a mesmerizing milky-white fall which is known as Mallalli Falls in Coorg. Mallalli falls plummeting from above in a sequence creating 2 levels, both breathtaking.

To view this Breathtakingly gorgeous waterfall, one has to climb down and up of about 600 steps to access the waterfall.

Roads condition and Connectivity:
Mallalli Falls is about 25 km from Somvarpet and is about 42 km from Kushalnagar and the number of buses going to the waterfalls is limited. One can take a car or public transport like auto or buses to reach this place. The roads to Mallalli falls in coorg, is a single-lane road through the lush greenery belt of Pushpagiri valleys. The road gets steepy curse and may not be in a very good condition. There are people who suggest traveling to this place only by 4×4 jeeps.

 

Shops and Eateries:
The entrance of the Waterfalls sometimes has small sellers, but most of the time the waterfall does not have any shops or eateries in and out of the place. So it’s suggested to carry water and food while visiting this place.

Open all days-  9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No entry fee to visit the waterfalls
However, an amount of ₹100 is charged for travelers taking a jeep for trekking
