Seethalayanagiri, a serene mountain peak in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka, features a charming old-fashioned temple dedicated to Seethala Mallikarjuna Swamy. Located on the route to Mullayanagiri, the drive up the winding roads of Chandradrona Hill offers stunning scenic views. The peak is easily accessible from the parking area and provides breathtaking vistas, making it a beautiful camping spot.. Many visitors use Seethalayanagiri as a base to trek the 3 km to Mullayanagiri.

Itinerary: With permission from locals and temple authorities, Seethalayanagiri makes an excellent spot for a day of boondocking. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and consider visiting nearby Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri for a complete day of exploration. However, be aware that Seethalayanagiri can get crowded during temple hours. The parking area features a few small shops offering basic refreshments and snacks, other than that one has to go make Chikkmagalur for the best restaurants and stay.
