Tarsar Lake is accessible via a trek from Aru village, which is located around 12 km from Pahalgam. The trek is approximately 16-17 km and takes 2-3 days, passing through beautiful meadows, forests, and mountain streams. Taxis and buses can take you to Aru village from Srinagar, and from there, the trek to Tarsar Lake begins.
