Self-Camping at the Location: While there is a paid campsite near Tarsar Lake for those who prefer more organized camping, there are also opportunities for self-camping around the lake. Campers can check with the locals for the best spots to set up their tents, usually on the wide-open meadows near the lake. The breathtaking views, the sound of gentle breezes, and the proximity to the lake offer an unmatched experience for those who love being in the heart of nature. The rugged and remote location makes it a perfect spot for free (boondocking) camping for those looking to unplug and reconnect with nature.
